This weekend was surely hardcore. Saturday was spent at Attica and watched ang mohs and SPGs make out and grind. The next day, my best friend and I decided to try out clubbing at St James - Fabulous Sunday. It was definitely another eye opener for both of us.

Firstly, it was my first time queuing just to get into a club for more than 2 hours. There were just too many people. I think it was precisely because the next day was a public holiday. Once we were in, the dance floor was already packed. Once people started dancing on the podium, I dragged my friends and so we were there dancing. I am not one of those guys who dance topless though. Heh. No body to flaunt.

There were actually some benefits of dancing on stage.

• You tend to get a bit more space than the dance floor below because not all want to go on the podium. Although for certain songs and certain timings, the podium can be super packed as well.
• It is actually much cooler on stage! LOL There is more room to breathe (at least) and can feel more of the air conditioning unlike when you are on the dance floor.
• You can get to dance with the topless hunks.

However, there are also some disadvantages.

• Like what they were discussing on a Trevvy Forums Thread for Fabulous Sundays, if the huge disco ball accidentally fell, the people on stage would be the first to be affected.
• The podium was actually not very secure (as I could feel it moving) and thus poses some danger to the dancers on stage.
• There are so many topless guys (I mentioned guys because not all who go topless have a good bod to show =S) that it can get a bit disgusting especially if you accidentally get into contact with them. The perspiration is just sticky and disgusting. =X

In a good note, St James had much better music than Play. It is just that it was ‘wilder’ than expected. My friend told me that there were a lot of people from different walks of life and different age groups. I do agree. There were uncles, twinks, hunks, chubs, etc. It was interesting.

It was another ‘milestone’ for me. The next time I would go, I don’t know yet. For the time being, I think I should give it a rest first. Maybe. Heh.
